Hey, Rod! Good to see you here! Let me tell you how thankful I am for this gem of a post! I AM THANKFUL! You see, our flowerbeds look a WRECK this year and I have been beating myself up, coming and going, about the state of them and how I should have been out there getting them pristine months ago. Well, we have had something unheard of here in Texas, RAIN! So much so that the generally easy weeding has morphed into a jungle on steroids! Now that the "rainy season" has passed, the HEAT of HELL has hit, so I am no closer to weeding than I was when we had downpours every day. Anyway, whatcha gonna do?! What I am going to do is limited, because there is a whole heck of a lot of other sh-stuff going on that could better use my attention, keep a smile on my face, and keep me from the ER due to heatstroke. SO, your post just gave me the most gracious and lovely reminder to be kind to myself, and darn it, I am taking your advice and running with it!
All the hugs and blessings to you, Rod! I hope all is going well with you, family, and your new job. Miss seeing you as much, but always happy when a post of yours pops up! Enjoy those daisies and all the visiting critters, and give some love to those weeds as well (they are just plants out of place). What is great about them, too, is that they inspired this post! No, those weeds aren't so bad!
Cheers to wilderness beyond the backdoor
Cheers, B! Thanks for the share, too.
